Kelly A. Dempsey was admitted to practice law in 2015, and she is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Before joining our team at HP Law, Kelly completed a two-year Judicial Clerkship with the Honorable Terrance R. Nealon of the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas in Lackawanna County. Throughout her professional and academic career thus far, Kelly possesses extensive legal experience in an array of areas, including labor and employment law, civil litigation, mortgage foreclosure and pro bono legal services.
Education
In 2015, Kelly received her Juris Doctor and graduated magna cum laude from the Beasley School of Law at Temple University. Based on her academic achievements, Kelly was inducted into the Order of the Coif, which is the honorary scholastic society noting excellence in legal education. In 2012, Kelly graduated summa cum laude from the University of Scranton, where she majored in Political Science & History, achieved placement on the Dean’s List, and participated as a member of both the Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society and the Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science Honor Society.
