Harsinie is the founding member of HP Law.  Harsinie focuses her Workers' Compensation practice on representing the self-insured and captive Employers in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  Harsinie's representative clients are in the construction, manufacturing, distribution, and temporary staffing industries.  She has successfully litigated Claim, Review, Modification, Suspension, and Termination Petitions before Workers’ Compensation Judges, the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board, and the Commonwealth Court.  She recently defended an Employer against an ultimately dismissed Supreme Court appeal and successfully obtained a Section 20 Settlement while maintaining her client’s Section 40 lien rights.

Harsinie is a highly sought-after lecturer and has delivered presentations and seminars across the country on Workers' Compensation laws.  She recently presented Whose Claim Is It Anyway: Protecting Your Business from Claims from Uninsured Business Partners. Her other seminars include presentations on Medical Marijuana and Workers’ Compensation, Exceptions to the Workers' Compensation Act, Protecting Your Company from Litigation, and a three-part series on OSHA and Temporary Staffing Worker Initiatives.  She has also presented seminars on Workers' Compensation Fraud and the Real Cost of a Workers' Compensation Fatality Claim.

Professional Activities:

Harsinie is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.  She is on the Board of Trustees of the Philadelphia Bar Association and has dedicated time to several pro bono projects ranging from tax clinics for migrant farm workers to mortgage foreclosure mediations and conferences with the Philadelphia VIP.  She is a panel attorney for the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts and has participated in emergency disaster relief with the American Red Cross. Harsinie was chosen as a 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014 Pennsylvania Rising Star by SuperLawyers, a distinction held by less than 5% of practicing attorneys.

Harsinie is an adjunct professor at Drexel University Law School where she teaches a course on Pennsylvania and New Jersey Workers’ Compensation.

Education:

In 2004, Harsinie received her Juris Doctorate from the Temple University Beasley School of Law where she was a scholarship recipient.  While at Beasley, Harsinie was the Managing Editor of the Temple University Environmental Law and Technology Journal, the Vice-President of the International Law Society, and Secretary of the Business Law Society.  Harsinie also studied international law and policy in Rome, Italy.  In 2001, she graduated from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia where she double-majored in Political Science and English, minored in Philosophy, and was a National Merit James E. Casey Scholarship Recipient and an Oxford Scholar.  While at Oglethorpe, Harsinie was the Presiding Officer of the University’s Academic Honor Counsel, a member of the Senate and Programming Boards, and a team teacher for Freshman Orientation classes in political theory and policy.
